We are thrilled to share that our esteemed partners from Instituto Pedro Nunes , Politecnico di Torino, and Brunel University London participated in the second International Conference on Construction, Energy, Environment, and Sustainability - CEES 2023 .
Held in the picturesque Funchal on Madeira Island, Portugal, from 27 to 30 June 2023, this conference was organized by Itecons / University of Coimbra in collaboration with the National Research Council of Canada’s (NRC) Construction Research Centre.
At CEES 2023, brilliant minds from the construction, energy, and environmental fields converged to address these challenges. Researchers, engineers, planners, stakeholders, and policymakers came together to explore ways to ensure sustainability, efficiency, and well-being in the construction industry.
The conference covered a broad spectrum of multidisciplinary topics, revolving around seven general themes: Construction materials and technologies, Building physics, Energy, Water and sanitation, Environment, Construction and Industry 4.0 and Community challenges and policies
