Powerskin+ | Update on Testing Activities
We're excited to announce the development of the Powerskin+ transparent module simulation workflow and share an update on our Powerskin+ Project´s testing activities!
Our team has completed a series of testing activities on both transparent and opaque sub-modules. These tests included evaluating the thermal conductivity and U-value of opaque sub-modules, studying the heat storage properties of different PCMs, and conducting a long-term test on sprayable antireflective coatings applied on perovskite PV.
Regarding the transparent module simulation workflow - with this new technology, we'll be able to perform microfluidic thermal simulations using a Python lumped parameter model co-simulated with Energy Plus software. This means we can achieve full-scale building energy simulations.
